A French manicure isn’t just for a sneaky night out in Seminyak. It’s for a 6am coffee at Suka Espresso before anyone else is awake. It’s for wrapping your hands around a flat white while you check the wind, then wandering down to see what Padang Padang is doing. It’s for the three hours you’ll spend on a scooter, the lunch you’ll take a photo of, and the sunset you didn’t plan on staying for.
That’s the whole point of French. It’s the only manicure that looks completely at home in a rashguard at seven in the morning and in a linen dress at seven at night — without you changing a single thing.

Bright colour is fun for four days. Then it chips at the tips, you notice it constantly, and you’re back in a salon.
French does the opposite. It’s designed around the tip, so it wears with dignity — and because the base is a sheer nude, it grows out invisibly. Two and a half weeks in, there’s no obvious regrowth line announcing that you’re overdue. On a two-week trip, that’s the difference between one appointment and two.
It also survives Bali. Salt water, sand, sunscreen, a hundred scooter journeys, chopping fruit, unclipping a leash strap — a gel French absorbs all of it and still looks deliberate.
And it goes with everything you own here, because everything you own here is white, linen, gold or denim.
The one you’re picturing. A crisp white tip, sheer nude base, hand-painted. Timeless, and hard to do well — which is exactly why we’re proud of it.
A finer, more modern line. Barely-there, expensive-looking, extremely popular right now. Our most-requested version on shorter natural nails.
Same shape, different tip: chrome, milky white, black, baby blue, terracotta, or a colour matched to something you brought in. Ask for two-tone or a double line if you want a little more.
For length and a stronger, squarer or almond tip. Nail tips, soft tips, builder gel or acrylic — we’ll advise what suits your natural nail rather than upselling you into something that’ll lift in a week.

(the classic French booking)
French tip work is included in the gel price — it’s technique, not an add-on fee.
Best value: Manicure + Gel Polish (Rp 340K) with a Pedicure + Gel (Rp 360K) in the same visit. Hands and feet matched, roughly 2 hours, and you’re set for a month.
Around 60–75 minutes for a gel French on natural nails, longer with extensions.
We start with shaping and proper cuticle work — this is where a good French is won or lost, because the tip line only looks clean if the nail underneath is clean. Then base, hand-painted tips, colour, and top coat, each layer cured properly rather than rushed.
We’re a calm room, not a conveyor belt. You get one nail tech, start to finish, and they’ll ask you what shape you actually want rather than defaulting to whatever’s fastest.
Russian / dry manicure (Rp 480K) is worth knowing about: an e-file technique that cleans right into the cuticle line, so the polish sits flush against the skin. It’s what makes a manicure look salon-fresh at week three instead of week one — and it’s the version to book if you’re getting married, working, or filming.
Gel French on natural nails: 2–3 weeks, and because there’s no colour line, most guests stretch it to three without it looking grown out.
On extensions: 3–4 weeks before an infill.
To get the full run in Bali: wear gloves for washing up, use cuticle oil daily (the sun and salt dry your nails out faster than you’d think), and don’t use your nails as tools on a scooter helmet clip. Come back to us for removal at Rp 50K rather than picking it off — picking takes the top layer of your nail with it.
Yes, and a micro French usually looks better on short nails than a thick classic tip. Bring them as they are.
Two to three days ahead is ideal — fresh, but with any redness around the cuticles settled.
Yes. Gel is fully cured before you leave, so you can go straight to the beach. Salt water won't lift a properly-prepped gel French.
Of course. Removal is Rp 50K and we'll soak it off properly rather than filing through your nail plate.
We do. Pedicure + Gel is Rp 360K, and it's the single best-value thing on the menu if you live in sandals.
