Looking for a massage near Jimbaran? Rika Spa is about 15 to 20 minutes south of Jimbaran Bay, on the main Jl. Raya Uluwatu road in Ungasan. Traditional Balinese massage is Rp 200K for 60 minutes and Rp 290K for 90 — Bukit prices, not beach-club prices. Book it for late afternoon and you are back down at the seafood grills by sunset with loose shoulders and no salt in your hair. Open every day, 9am to 9pm.

The Full Menu, a Short Ride from Jimbaran Bay

From Jimbaran Bay it is a straight run south along Jl. Raya Uluwatu and up onto the Bukit — about 15 to 20 minutes, less outside peak hours. We are on the main road in front of Tarabelle with parking directly outside, so it is an easy stop on the way to or from Uluwatu Temple, Melasti or Padang Padang.

The afternoon that works best

Most guests coming from Jimbaran book between 3pm and 5pm. An hour on the table, a shower, and you are back down at the bay in time for the seafood grills and the sunset. If you are staying in a Jimbaran villa or one of the cliff hotels, it is short enough to do twice in a week without thinking about it.

I started with a bikini and underarm wax, and she was fantastic — so gentle, professional, hygienic and made me feel completely comfortable throughout the whole treatment.

I also had a lash lift and brow lamination and they turned out absolutely beautiful. I’m so happy with the result!

Then I had the aromatherapy massage and belly massage and WOW… the therapist was incredible. Honestly one of the best massages I’ve had in Bali. She was extremely skilled, attentive and knew exactly what she was doing. I left feeling amazing and completely relaxed.

I loved the place so much that I came back again to get my ear pierced, and once again the experience was perfect. She was super professional, gentle and precise.

Easily, and it is our busiest slot. Book between 3pm and 5pm and you will be finished, showered and back down at the bay in good time for the grills. Yes. The couples massage is two therapists and two tables in one private room, from Rp 400K for two people. It is the usual booking for couples staying around Jimbaran Bay, and it still leaves the evening free for dinner on the sand.

Do we drive up, or take a Grab from Jimbaran?

Either is easy. There is parking directly outside on the main Uluwatu road, so a hire car or scooter is no trouble. Grab and Gojek both run the Jimbaran to Ungasan stretch, and drivers know Tarabelle, which is right in front of us.
