Spa Manicure

How long does gel really last in Bali?
Ten to fourteen days on fingers is realistic here, and the limiting factor usually isn’t the gel — it’s growth and what you do with your hands. Surfing, washing up, sunscreen and salt water all shorten it at the edges.
Three things that genuinely extend it:
- Ask for a Russian manicure. Working the cuticle line properly is what stops lifting.
- Cuticle oil, daily. Rp 10K here, and it does more than anything else on this list.
- Get it removed properly. Picking gel off takes the top layer of your nail plate with it. Removal is Rp 50K and takes 20 minutes.
