Signature Surf Massage 60 min IDR 240K · 90 min IDR 320K · Jl. Raya Uluwatu No. 75X, Ungasan · Open 9am–9pm daily
Four days of Uluwatu, Bingin and Padang Padang will find your shoulders, your lower back and the front of your hips, and a gentle full-body oil massage will not undo any of it. Our Signature Surf Massage is the answer to that: slower strokes, forearm and elbow pressure, and most of the hour spent on two or three areas rather than politely covering everything once. It is the same treatment we give guests who spend the day hunched over a laptop in Uluwatu, or who arrived with a neck that has not moved properly since the flight. Sixty minutes is IDR 240K, ninety is IDR 320K.
Eleven full-body treatments and nine focused 30-minute options, all at Ungasan prices. Start here if you are still deciding.
If deep work sounds like more than you want, the classic Balinese massage is medium pressure, flowing and full-body. 60 min IDR 200K.
Two therapists, two tables, one private room — and you do not both have to pick the same pressure. From IDR 400K for two.
Feet wrecked from barefoot walks up the beach steps. Herbal soak first, then pressure through the soles. 60 min IDR 220K.
Side-lying, bolster-supported and deliberately gentle, from the second trimester. 60 min IDR 200K.
Deep work needs time. Sixty minutes is enough for one region done properly — shoulders and upper back, or lower back and hips. Ninety lets your therapist warm the tissue first, work slowly through it, and finish with stretching instead of stopping mid-knot. If you have surfed hard for several days running, book ninety.
Only one problem area?
Prices are in Indonesian Rupiah and may change without notice. Message us on WhatsApp to check availability and book your preferred time.
| If you… | Book |
|---|---|
| surfed four days straight | Signature Surf Massage 90 min |
| have one knotted shoulder | Signature Surf Massage 60 min |
| carry stress in your neck | Back, neck & shoulder 30 min, or Shiatsu |
| ache all over rather than in one spot | Warm Bamboo or Hot Stone 90 min |
| do not want oil, or prefer clothed work | Shiatsu 60 min |
| want heat with the pressure | Herbal Compress or Hot Stone |
| are sunburned | Not this — book Sunburn Recovery instead |
| want firm but not deep | Traditional Balinese, and say “firm” |
Firm here means slow and deliberate, not brutal. You should be able to breathe normally through it. Sharp, breath-holding pain is not the goal and does not speed anything up — tell your therapist to ease off and they will, immediately. Equally, if it feels like a gentle oil massage and you wanted work done, say so in the first five minutes rather than at the end.
Sixty or ninety minutes, most of it spent on two or three areas.
Point at it. Shoulders from paddling, lower back from arching, hips from popping up, neck from the flight. Old injuries and no-go areas get flagged now, not halfway through.
Broad palm and forearm strokes with warm oil, or heated bamboo if you have booked it. Cold muscle does not release, so nobody goes straight in with an elbow.
Forearm, elbow and thumb pressure held along the muscle fibres, working through the tight bands rather than sliding over them. Pressure gets checked as we go.
Assisted stretching through shoulders and hips, then ginger tea. Drink water, and give it a few hours before your next surf.
Yes. Our Signature Surf Massage is the firm, focused deep tissue treatment — IDR 240K for 60 minutes and IDR 320K for 90 minutes. Shiatsu is available if you prefer clothed pressure-point work with no oil.
Balinese massage is flowing, oiled, medium-pressure work over the whole body. Deep tissue is slower, firmer, and concentrated on specific tight areas such as shoulders, lower back and hips.
Ours is IDR 240K for 60 minutes in Ungasan. Resort spas and dedicated recovery studios elsewhere on the Bukit typically charge IDR 400K to 800K.
Possibly, mildly, for about a day — similar to post-training soreness. It should feel dull and fading rather than sharp or getting worse.
You can, but you will get more out of both if you rest a few hours. Deep work leaves muscles temporarily softer and slower to fire.
Tell us exactly what and where before we start and we will work around it. For anything recent, acutely painful, or involving nerve pain, please see a doctor or physiotherapist first.
